A cable chain (cable carrier / drag chain) is a key structural part that protects the X- and Y-axis cabling on an SMT placement machine, keeping cables and air hoses from breaking under repeated bending as the machine moves. Yamaha: cable chains are split by machine model — YV100X / XG / II (X-axis cover), YS12 / YS24 / YG12 / YG100 / YSM20 (X-axis cover), YS88 / YS100 (X-axis cover), YSM10 (old-type chain), YSM20R (new type, KMK-M2267-00X), YSM10 new type (KMG-M2267-A0), YS12 / YS12F, YG12 / YG12F, YS24, YV100X / XG / II and YSM40 / YSM40R. Chain length and connector specs differ by model, so confirm the model before ordering. The YS24 cable chain is KKE-M2267-00, while KV7-M2267-01X is for the YV series — please check your machine model to tell them apart.
FUJI NXT: the M3 uses a Y-axis chain (2MGTSA006702, 2 m, connectors not included); the M6 has its own version. JUKI: the new-type X-axis cable chain (40069117, 34 links) fits several JUKI placement machines. Panasonic: CM602 uses the Y-axis chain N510009023AA, NPM-W the X-axis chain N510056967AA, and CM202 / CM402 have both an X-axis (KXF0CWMAA00) and a Y-axis (KXF0CWPAA00) version.

Selection notes
- Yamaha YS24 vs YV series: YS24 uses KKE-M2267-00 and the YV series uses KV7-M2267-01X; check the machine nameplate before choosing.
- FUJI NXT connectors not included: the 2MGTSA006702 chain body does not include the connectors at either end — tell us the quantity if you also need connectors.
- X axis vs Y axis: Panasonic CM202 / CM402 has both — KXF0CWMAA00 (X) and KXF0CWPAA00 (Y); confirm the axis you need.
- Older models: some old-type chains for the YS12 / YG12 / YV100 series have no standard part number; send a photo of the machine and we will confirm the spec.
